One summer, an ancient evil awoke beneath a small kingdom in northeast Texas. The skies turned gray, and there was hail in July. Depression and heartbreak descended upon the humble villagers of this fair kingdom. The King watched in terror as children were trapped in their dungeon-like homes with nothing to do. Among those trapped were four brave knights: Alex the Strong, David the Nimble, Matthew the Clever, and Tanner the Wise. As the evil beneath the kingdom grew stronger, the King knew that something had to be done. With the situation quickly becoming desperate, he approached the four knights and begged them to save the kingdom. To do so, the knights would have to equip themselves with ancient armor that would send the ancient evil back to where it came from. This ancient armor was considered out of style by some, but the knights knew that to save the kingdom they would have to bring it back. The King would not be able to help the boys on their quest, but directed them to the prophet Michael, who would send them in the right direction.
When the knights arrived at Michael’s, the prophet was waiting for them. He gave them instructions on how to forge the sacred armor. The knights got their supplies and set out to do just that. Alex, being strong like the ocean, chose blue, with a wave-like pattern. David, being nimble and quick like bolts of lightening, chose pink, with a pattern that looked like electricity was dancing across his armor. Matthew, being clever and sneaky like the wind, chose green, with a pattern that resembled leaves being tossed around in a gust. Tanner, the wisest of all, chose red, with a pattern that looked like rings of fire. The knights had their armor, and the power known as tie-dye had been revived.
Upon completing their armor, the boys discovered the new powers that their incredible tie-dye shirts had given them. Alex could now create powerful blasts of water with the wave of his hand. David could make lightening appear from nowhere. Matthew could call upon the power of the wind whenever he pleased, and Tanner could create fire at the snap of his fingers. They were now ready to confront the evil that was ambushing their town. The boys descended into the depths and prepared themselves for the ultimate battle. None of them knew what to expect.
David used a strong blast of lightening to open a whole in the ground, and Alex followed it with a torrent of water to create a tunnel towards the source of the evil. Matthew created a gust of wind that carried them all down the tunnel, and Tanner lit the way. As the scenery became darker and more depressing, the knights knew they were getting close. Suddenly the tunnel opened up into a wide cavern and the boys stopped to confront their foe. It was like nothing they could have imagined. In their path stood a gigantic four headed dragon, each head representing one of the evils plaguing their kingdom: dullness, unoriginality, boredom, and monotony. The knights knew that some of those words meant the same thing, but they also knew that anyone taking this story seriously should get a sense of humor. Alex battled ordinariness with a hydro blast from his outstanding blue shirt. David combated unoriginality with a lightening strike from his flamboyant pink shirt. Matthew overcame boredom with a blast of wind from his fantastic green shirt, and Tanner got rid of monotony with his flaming red shirt. Everything was back to normal in no time.
A celebration was held for the knights to thank them for their heroic deeds. However, the boys knew they had to stop the evil from ever coming back. They set out to equip everyone with ancient armor, selling tie-dye shirts in a variety of colors and styles. Soon anyone that was anyone had at least like ten and if you didn’t you pretty much weren’t cool at all. Everyone loved the shirts like, oh my God, you don’t even know. So if you want to stop the evil from coming back, or you just don’t want to be lame, you should probably hurry up and start ordering some. Oh and tell your friends. Don’t let what happened in the knights’ town happen in your town.
THE END… or is it?
